The Farming Life Centre's Befriending programme, based in Bakewell, is entering its second year and calling for more volunteers to help run the service supporting farming families across the Peak District.
The Flagg Village Beer Festival and Flagg Moor Run 2 were held on Friday 22nd August 2025, with nearly 100 runners tackling the 5.5 mile route through fields, lanes and country roads towards Pomeroy and Chelmorton.
To mark the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Flagg Parish Council provided the children of Flagg with a souvenir mug, a nice addition to last year's Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee mug.
